A Successful Open House!

A sincere thank you to all who attended our Open House event last Sunday. We had a mix of mayors, community volunteers, city council members, school board members, faith leaders, business leaders, consultants, and community service workers attend.

As part of the networking and brainstorming session, we posed five questions to get the creative juices flowing:

What we got back filled over 11 flip chart pages! Over the next few days we will compile this information and summarize it into a list of potential projects and programs.

I have a wonderful organization that would be a great fit for a partnership. PCs For People (www.pcsforpeople.com) is a non-profit organization that takes in old computers, refurbishes them and gets them into low-income households. The mission is simple, and the benefit is immediate and tangible: computers go into homes that could not otherwise afford them. I would welcome the chance to foster a partnership between A Better Society and PCs for People. Reply
