We have your money. We want your mindshare.

[An email sent to donors of A Better Society during GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day 2013]

Dear friends,

This won’t be your typical “Thank you for your donation” email. And while do thank you for your support, we are even more grateful for your mindshare. Capturing someone’s mindshare in this day and age can be difficult. Out of the thousands of nonprofits in MN, you chose to spend a few moments with us. Ask yourself why. Better yet, reach out to the person who introduced you to us and ask them

four more times, you will eventually get to this – making a difference.

Deep down, we all want to make a BIG difference.

Start today.
Come learn how.

A Better Society placed 3rd in the Small Nonprofit category earning us a $5,000 GiveMN prize (unofficial results). Overall, we had 111 unique donors and a total of $32,595 was raised in 24 hours. This was an incredible day and can be attributed 100% to our Project volunteers.

2013 marked a significant year for our organization. We worked hard to provide the necessary resources and guidance to incubate and scale multiple projects. Helping launch and now spinning off these two projects is both a joyful and tearful experience. We have developed lasting relationships with these founders, board members, volunteers and have all the confidence in the world they will be able to achieve so much more in the future. But as the saying goes, no rest for the weary…

We are excited to announce our newest project – the Joe Stone Foundation. Spark + Grit + Heart. Meet Joe Stone.

For those who have been with us on this journey of building this organization called A Better Society, we genuinely thank you. For those just starting this journey with us, welcome.

Welcome to… A Better Society.
