Helping Hands – Jamaica Project

We were blessed to be able to send 26 kids bikes to Jamaica – part of the Helping Hands project. As Tom and Pat Roovers planned their next trip to south-central Jamaica, they reached out to us to provide bikes to kids as an incentive to do well in school or do work in their community. I realized with Project Inspire that I am not the type of person who will follow through on weekly blogging. My new plan is to try to post something every month or so. Trash into Treasure – April 20th

Project KiDS, Boy Scout Troop #337, Girl Scouts Junior Troop #13928, Project Life-Cycle, and Project SecondLife are all participating in Tonka Green’s Trash into Treasure event on Saturday, April 20th at Minnetonka High School. Our groups will be collecting gently used bicycles, usable bike locks and training wheels for Project Life-Cycle, and linens of any quality for the PROP Shop and Southwest Animal Rescue.
