There is no shortage of volunteer opportunities. Ask yourself a few questions: How much time do you want to serve? What kind of service fits your personality? What neighborhood and community do you want to work in? Which target population do you want to work with? What skills do you have to offer? What would you like to gain from the experience? Whoever you are, no matter how much or how little you have to benefit others, making the decision to give your time will enrich your life and change the lives of others.

We believe our gifts and talents are not just for ourselves but to assist those around us. Whether you are good at accounting, have great people skills, are full of artistic ability, experienced with fund-raising, possess legal skills, love to help people learn, etc., every effort helps make our world a better place. If you are new to service work, you will find sharing your talents brings a sense of purpose which is an unexpected benefit to volunteering.
